Peer Review Policies
Peer Review Policy
Peer review is a vital quality-control process in academic publishing. At Global Journal of Advanced Multidisciplinary Studies (GJAMS), all submitted manuscripts undergo evaluation by subject experts to ensure clarity, originality, technical accuracy, proper referencing, and meaningful contribution to the respective discipline. Reviewer insights help maintain the scholarly integrity and credibility of the journal.
As a bi-monthly journal (six issues per year), GJAMS follows a structured and time-bound review process to ensure timely publication. The journal primarily adopts a single-blind peer review model, where reviewers remain anonymous to authors to support objective and unbiased evaluation.
The average review timeline is approximately 3–5 weeks, allowing sufficient time for expert assessment while maintaining an efficient editorial workflow suitable for bi-monthly publication.
Based on reviewer recommendations, manuscripts may be:
-
Accepted without revision
-
Accepted with minor revisions
-
Returned for major revisions
-
Rejected
Revised manuscripts are re-evaluated to confirm that reviewer comments have been adequately addressed. The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision regarding publication.
Double-Blind Peer Review
Upon author request and with prior approval from the Editor-in-Chief, GJAMS may conduct a double-blind peer review process, ensuring anonymity of both authors and reviewers to further enhance transparency and fairness.
