Withdrawal Policy
Withdrawal Policy
At the Global Journal of Advanced Multidisciplinary Studies (GJAMS), we recognize that authors may occasionally need to withdraw their manuscripts due to unforeseen circumstances. To ensure transparency, fairness, and the smooth functioning of our bi-monthly publication schedule, the journal follows the guidelines below:
Before Peer Review
Authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript at any time before it enters the peer review process. The request must be submitted in writing to the journal’s official email with a clear explanation for the withdrawal.
During Peer Review
Once a manuscript has been assigned to reviewers, withdrawal requests will be considered carefully. Authors must provide a valid and justified reason for the request. As the journal operates on a structured bi-monthly review timeline, withdrawal at this stage may affect the review workflow. The Editorial Board reserves the right to approve or decline the request depending on the progress of the review process.
After Acceptance
Withdrawal requests submitted after formal acceptance are generally not permitted. In exceptional cases involving ethical, legal, or serious academic concerns, a written request may be reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief on a case-by-case basis. Authors should note that post-acceptance withdrawal may impact consideration of future submissions.
Unethical Withdrawal
Unjustified or repeated withdrawal of manuscripts—especially after peer review or acceptance—may be considered unethical conduct. The journal reserves the right to impose a temporary or permanent restriction on future submissions in such cases.
Final Decision
The final decision regarding any withdrawal request rests solely with the Editor-in-Chief. Authors will be informed of the decision in writing.
